How To Be a Hipster
Step 1: Try to make yourself look as much like an Indian as possible; Headbands! Moccasins! Any kind of clothing with fringey shit on them! If you're too manly for a headband a hat will work, as long as it's facing sideways.
Step 2: Wear thick-rimmed glasses ALL the time. If you're going outside, thick-rimmed sunglasses will work.
Step 3: Wear as many bracelets as you can possibly fit on your wrists.
Step 4: Rock Band t-Shirts!
Step 5: V-Necks!
Step 6: If a song gets popular, and you knew it before it was popular you better make damn sure everyone on this planet knows that you knew it first.
Step 7: Buy yourself a Polaroid camera and spend way too much money on film, because digital cameras are way too mainstream.
Step 8: All of your music must be on vinyl. It also should be songs no one else will have heard of so if someone likes the song you're listening to you can say "you've probably never heard of that band anyway"
Step 9: You can't call yourself a hipster. You have to wait until somebody else calls you a hipster and then pretend to hate it because the word hipster is way too mainstream.
Step 10: Instagram every moment of your life and you better use a filter with every picture.
Step 11: Say things like "the book is wayy better than the movie"
Step 12: Always have a coffee mug in your hand, but no paper or plastic: It's bad for the environment bro.
Step 13: When someone tells you they like an article of clothing your wearing the conversation should go something like this. Friend: I love your shirt, where'd you get it? You: Tuh *eye roll*
